About CEIMA

The Comparative Education Instructional Materials Archive (CEIMA) is a project of The Center for International Comparative Education (ICE) at Bowling Green State University.

CEIMA collects and posts comparative and international education instructional materials from universities worldwide on an ICE Center web-based archive. CEIMA provides for the public submission and download of writing assignments, research assignments, rubrics, syllabi, presentation assignments, and student-led discussions. The project is a participatory archive in which scholars and instructors can share with and become inspired by their colleagues’ approaches to teaching and learning.

The ICE Center invites all university faculty and instructors to submit descriptions and explanations of in-class activities, paper and presentation assignments, small-scale ethnographic research projects, and other innovative instructional materials along with accompanying course syllabi. On the CEIMA site, faculty and instructors will have the opportunity to also provide biographical information, including their institutional affiliation, contact information, and research interests.

CEIMA was created by Patricia Kubow, Bruce Collet, Leilani Kupo, and Meghan Burley at Bowling Green State University.
