Two grants have been submitted for research projects for local teachers and BGSU students to examine Arab culture in the U.S. and the Arab world. Educational interaction locally and globally will enable project participants to infuse Arab cultural perspectives into public secondary school humanities curriculum in Northwest Ohio and enrich the university’s graduate courses in comparative education, cultural studies, and history of education.
