ICE Center Student Scholar Program

Opportunities for graduate students to complete cross-cultural international research and internships.

The first ICE Center student scholar is Amy Collins-Warfield, a graduate student in the Master of Arts in Cross-Cultural and International Education (MACIE) degree program at BGSU.  During May-June 2008, Amy completed a cross-cultural internship and research for her Master’s thesis in Langa, South Africa—the first township created during the apartheid era and still segregated today.  Her research focused on teachers’ psychological sense of community and how that impacts the learning environment in township schools.
