Seminar Preparation Team

The seminar preparation began in 2007. At the time, the seminar preparation coordinator was Natsuko Tohyama, a Master’s student in the College Student Personnel program in the Department of Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA), who was completing a practicum with ICE Center director, Dr. Patricia Kubow.  Natsuko was working with the director to plan both academic and logistical aspects of the South African seminar focused on social justice issues.

Currently, the Seminar Preparation Team is composed of Dr. Patricia Kubow (ICE Center Director), Dr. Sherlon Brown (School of Intervention Services), Leilani Kupo (ICE Center Research Assistant and Doctoral Candidate), and Megan Wetzel (ICE Center Practicum Student and College Student Personnel Masters student). The team is currently creating the curriculum and itinerary for the seminar experience.
