The ICE Center’s first seminar abroad will be offered and open to graduate and undergraduate students during Summer 2009.  The social justice seminar will include a pre-departure workshop followed by a two-week seminar in South Africa.

The seminar preparation coordinator is Natsuko Tohyama, a Master’s student in the College Student Personnel program in the Department of Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA), who is completing a practicum with ICE Center director, Dr. Patricia Kubow.  Natsuko is working with the director to plan both academic and logistical aspects of the South African seminar focused on social justice issues.
