Visiting scholars from other countries come to the ICE Center for purposes of teaching, guest lectures, research, and scholarship alongside BGSU faculty and students.

 

 

Lana

Assistant Professor Lana Kreishan

Academic background: PhD in Linguistics, Surrey University (United Kingdom); MA in Applied Linguistics, Surrey University; BA in English Language and LIterature from Al-Hussein Bin Talal University (Jordan)

Assistant Professor in English Language and Literature Department at Al-Hussein Bin Talal University in Jordan.  

She is a Fulbright Scholar (2012-2013) at Bowling Green State University. Her teaching and research interests focus on language acquisition, bilingualism, psycho- and sociolinguistics, and international education.

Professor Andriy Levyskyy

Andriy Levytskyy / Andrei Levitsky, b. 1962, Dr. Sc. (Philology)

Prof,, Dept. of Theory & Practice of Translation (English) at Kiev Taras Shevchenko National University (Ukraine).

He is a Fulbright Scholar (2011-2012) at Bowling Green State University. His spheres of interest are: comparative studies of English, Russian & Ukrainian, cognitive semantics (lexical & grammatical). His current research in BGSU is “Molding National Education Standard and Curriculum Development for Ukraine”

 

Professor C.C. Wolhuter
Professor Charl Wolhuter from North-West University in South Africa will interact with the ICE Center, other BGSU faculty, and students to share insights on education in South Africa and local and global factors influencing the direction of the country during April 13-23.  He will guest lecture in faculty courses and give a university-wide presentation.  He will also be collaborating on scholarly publications with ICE faculty.
